- In 2010, we recognized the evolving connected vehicle as a potential new battleground for cyber-attacks and began developing detection & prevention solutions.
- Since our establishment in 2012, we’ve been researching and developing cyber-security solutions dedicated to the automotive environment. Our ex-military personnel are experts in embedded, mission-critical cyber security, and are experienced at developing reliable, high-end, defensive cyber security solutions for even the most complicated of systems. Arilou is the first cyber-security vendor to develop and implement an “Electronic Signature” as the most accurate technological source detection method. This technology provides 100% accuracy in detecting impersonation attacks. Arilou Cyber Security are pioneers in the field of in-vehicle cyber-security, with deep automotive industry knowledge and unique expertise. Arilou’s solutions have been successfully tested by the United States of America Department of Transportation, leading research institutions and major OEMs – Our solutions are ready and available for integration today.

Meet our leadersleaders
Gonen Vardi
CEO
Gonen has over 20 years’ experience in Sales and Business Leadership, including complex strategic project management in the areas of cybersecurity and enterprise businesses software. He also has an extensive background in managing sales activities of OT cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure, including transportation, energy, and utilities from his previous roles as VP Sales at Cylus and Head of Sales at Cyberx.
Prior to joining Arilou, Gonen was CEO - International Business at Yandex.
Before entering the private sector, he served as a member of the Israeli Defense Force.
Gonen holds a BSc in mechanical engineering and MSc in industrial & business, both from Technion Israel institute of technology.
Ziv Levi
Strategic Advisor and Founder
Ziv is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with over a decade of experience in the field. Graduate in Computer Science, he is also a trained ethical hacker.
He spent 6 years in the Israeli Military Forces in an elite Cybersecurity unit. In 2012, with all the valuable experience gained, he founded Arilou Cybersecurity, a start-up focusing on automotive cybersecurity.
Ziv was recognized in the Top 40 under 40 promising and influential managers of Israel 2015 by Globes Business Magazine.
Gil Litichever
CTO and Founder
As CTO and founder, Gil guides the technological development of the company. His understanding of the field is underpinned by many years engaged in high-end cybersecurity, securing mission critical systems.
In 2012 Gil founded Arilou Cybersecurity, a start-up focused on developing high-end and cost-effective Cybersecurity solutions for the automotive domain. It is his firm belief that with Arilou’s expertise, there’s no reason cars cannot be both connect and secure. Arilou was acquired in 2016 by NNG Group, a global automotive software developer, specializing in navigation and infotainment. Gil holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and a B.A in Physics from Technion Haifa.
Yaron Hopstone-Dayan
Vice President of Research & Development
Yaron Hopstone-Dayan is an experienced R&D manager who has held a broad range of management positions with global companies over the past 16 years.
During this time, Yaron has managed large R&D groups in globally distributed locations, developing high-end cyber-security and telecom solutions. His specialization is the introduction of modern processes and capabilities using the Agile methodology.
Yaron has a B.A. and MBA from Haifa University.
Anat Ben-Or
HR and Operations Manager
Anat is a very experienced HR and Operations leader, with over 10 years’ experience in various global industries.
Before joining Arilou, Anat served for 6 years at an FMCG company as the head of HR of their Israeli branch. She also established the HR department of an Ed-Tech company, and was the head recruiter for a global cybersecurity company.
In the Human Resources domain, in addition to recruitment, Anat is Skilled in Career Development, HR Consulting, HR Policies, and Employee Engagement.
Anat holds a BA in Behavioral Sciences from Ruppin Academic Center and a Senior Payroll Specialists’ Diploma from the College of Management.
